ArcAtlas: Our Earth
A unique atlas of the world on CD-ROM, ArcAtlas: Our Earth is a large collection of maps and information about the earth's people, plants, animals, and their various environments and economies. The atlas includes more than 40 thematic maps of each continent in the form of ARC/INFO coverages and ArcView projects, more than 100 space images and photographs, plus extensive on-line narrative.
ArcScene World Tour
ArcScene World Tour is a collection of fourteen SPOTŪ satellite images of different locations around the world. The images cover a variety of natural and human-influenced environments such as Paris, Cairo and the Nile River Valley, the South American rain forest and Antarctica. The use of ArcView Data publisher software, interactive text and annotated views create a tour of the World.
ArcUSA 1:2M: Coterminous U.S.
ArcUSA 1:2M provides maps for the lower 48 US states. Features include state and county boundaries, hydrography, roads, railroads, place names, and federal lands. Index layers include latitude/longitude grids, a Landsat satellite scene index, and USGS quadrangle indexes for 1:24,000-, 1:100,000-, and 1:250,000-scale maps. Attributes for states and counties include 1990 census data; socioeconomic, demographic, and health statistics (from the mid-1980s); agricultural product and market value statistics; local government finance statistics; and general land use and soils information. Digital Chart of the World
The Digital Chart of the World is a worldwide basemap of coastlines, international boundaries, cities, airports, elevations, roads, railroads, water features, cultural landmarks, and much more. It is the most detailed global database on the market providing consistent treatment of geographic information worldwide, and is the best source of data for many areas of the globe. The database totals 1.7 gigabytes in size and comes on 4 CD-ROMs. More than 200 attributes are organized into 17 thematic layers with text annotation for cities, mountains, lakes, and other geographic features.
ESRI US Street Database
Four CD-ROMs contain street data in shapefile format along with prebuilt geocoding indexes, made from GDT's Dynamap/2000 street files. The 102 shapefiles include one for each of the 50 largest Metropolitan Statistical Areas, and one for the rest of the streets in each state (except for Texas which is split into east, central, and west segments).
